National integrated coastal management framework workshop for Vanuatu: strengthening coastal governance and climate change adaptation, 5-8 October 2010, Por Vila, Vanuatu : workshop report

As part of the MacArthur Foundation funded project, ‘Enhancing coastal and marine ecosystem resilience to climate change impacts through strengthened coastal governance and conservations measures’1 , a national workshop on the ‘Integrated Coastal Fisheries Management (ICM) and Climate Change Adaptation’ was held from 13 to 16 October 2009 in Port Vila. The purpose of this workshop was to begin the necessary consultation and drafting of a ‘National Integrated Coastal Management Framework (NICMF)’ for Vanuatu.
