One World:Timber Supply Areas-Papua New Guinea Forest Policies

A report on the Papua New Guinea Timber Industry and a new concept known as the "Timber-Supply Areas". This concept is explained in an interview by Tim Neville (Minister for Forests, PNG). Joe Kell, an environmental activitist expresses his concerns about this new concept which he believes has not been explained properly to the public. Taherei Nadarasha (Research Fellow with the Environment and Development Unit of the National Research Institute in Port Moresby) believes this new concept could be adopted to accomodate better management of other forest values.
